National Day of Service and Remembrance

Sat., Sep. 11: Come out to recognize the National Day of Service and Remembrance with the GMWDC Community Service Committee, the Anacostia Watershed Society, the town of Bladensburg, and hundreds of other volunteers. This family-friendly event showcases all of the environmental work for which the Anacostia Watershed Society is known. There will be a stream clean-up, non-native invasive plant removal, native tree plantings, and storm drain stenciling.
